and a refuge to rare marine life.

Explore the rare beauty from wonderful extremely varied landscapes from sand dunes to mountains of the Sinai desert on 4*4 quad bikes approximately 4 -5 hours.

Travel to Dahab named after the Bedouin word meaning ‘gold’ due to the yellow colour of its rocks and the sand of its magnificent beaches. Explore the beautiful valleys on horse back.

Depart into the heart of the desert where camels will be waiting to take you to where you will camp overnight, where you will be looked after by the Bedouins. The stars in the sky are amazing and without light pollution you can clearly see the milky way!

The area of Sinai we will be trekking through is of great

historical interest

 since it was followed in the Byzantine age by pilgrims 

on their way

 from Aila to Saint Catherine and Wadi Feiran

Trekking on foot visiting the pre historic Bedouin village of 

El Nawamis dating back to 3000 years BC. We will take afternoon tea in a Bedouin village – tented.

We travel by air conditioned coach to St.Catherine.

Arrive at St Catherine’s which is located in the heart of the Sinai peninsula at a height of 1570 metres.

According to tradition this is where Moses saw the burning bush and whose summit the received the Tables of the Law.

Very early start 1am  (optional) to climb mount Sinai to see the dawn break over the desert.

       Visit St Catherine’s Monastery which houses the most amazing library second only to that of the Vatican in worldwide importance.
