The Red Sea  holidays may either be on mainland Egypt’s east coast at locations such as upmarket El Gouna and Hurghada or on the Sinai at popular locations such as Sharm el Sheikh, Nuweiba or Dahab.

Activities may include, sunbathing (all year round), sail boarding, parasailing, snorkelling, scuba diving, and many other sports.

Hurghada was founded in the early 20th century and until a few years ago was a small fishing village. Today it has become an international centre for aquatic sports. The unique underwater gardens offshore are some of the finest in the world

Nuweiba means ‘bubbling springs’ in Arabic. You may take the ferry from the port here to Aqaba. A wonderful place to visit from here is the coloured Canyon which is one of the geological wonders of the Sinai

Dahab is a charming place with a very Bedouin atmosphere, the waterfront is full of little curiosity shops, crafts and tented fire lit seafood cafes. It is ideal for windsurfing and paragliding.

Sharm El Sheikh is very modern with a wonderful backdrop of the Sinai desert mountains.

Here you can also go trekking in the Sinai desert on Camel or Quad bikes. 

A most significant centre for underwater sports in the region. 

Na'ama bay is very popular due to its beauty, climate and geographical position. 

Ras Mohamed is only 20k away it is  an unspoiled place of extraordinary beauty and naturalistic interest and is now a National Park.  

Tiran Island is the other end of Sharm set amongst the coral reef. There are a couple of sunken wrecks off shore having gone a ground on the coral reefs excellent for divers.
